more like how many people do you think they will stamp.. such as, if other immigration didn't approve the stamp. Any ideas on that?

sorry I don’t know about the Samui office. I’ve not heard that they have a limit per day if that’s what you mean. You can request a Covid extension at any immigration office in Thailand. Some will ask you for proof of filing a tm30 that shows you’re “in” the province, but all hotels legally have to do that for you anyway and you can ask their reception for a copy of their filing if that’s an issue.

Covid extensions are at the discretion of the immigration office(r) and not a right, so you may be refused,but theres been very few reports if any of refusal since the last extension date of May 24th.
