Hello! Would I be able to fly into Thailand with a PCR test, not RT-PCR? Anyone was able to get in with just a PCR?

Thank you for your time and advice :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus among commenters is that you need an RT-PCR test to enter Thailand, as the certificate specifically needs to state RT-PCR. While some travelers have reported getting through with a standard PCR test, it seems risky and not guaranteed.

Some have gotten through, others haven’t. Pretty substantial risk.

Thanks for sharing!

The thing is that in Washington state PCR is free, but RT-PCR is $250 🙈

Certificate needs to say RT-PCR, ask to see a sample test result certificate.
