Are rapid Covid tests acceptable for entry into Thailand, or do I need a PCR test?

So the answer is it was a RT-PCR test.After they don't let anyone enter without that.

my mate wasn't allowed to leave Melbourne because his result had missed the RT off , so just PCR ..cost him another 2 weeks renewing COE etc Zabel ******************

not sure off hand what type, they were rapid tests though had them done in the US... Actually had 2 different types of tests due to late COE a week apart, both were a rapid ..Tom *********
