I asked this question a couple days but didn’t get a clear answer. Do I need to do a RT PCR test before I leave Phuket to transit through Dubai back to the UK?

I have tried phoning Emirates many times and just been left on hold and I can’t find no clear information on there website. I know in the uk they do not require you to show a RT PCR test but just fill out your passenger locator form before I depart Phuket.

Can only people who have recently traveled from Thailand to UK with a stop over in Dubai comment and tell me if they had to show proof of a RT PCR test before departure.

Many thanks 🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers transiting through Dubai from Phuket to the UK generally do not need to present a RT PCR test, provided they are fully vaccinated. Unvaccinated travelers may need to show proof of a RT PCR test. It's important to verify specific requirements based on final destination regulations.

According to the fly Dubai website currently no need for pcr for transit in Dubai if final destination doesn't require it.
