Thai Elite Visa. July 23rd application accepted--6 Aug application approved. I simply used the online process . No agents or outside assistance. It could not have been more straightforward. Now the hard part...giving up $16,284....🤯.

James Kamera Kasino How long did it take from application submission until acceptance on July 23? I just submitted an app yesterday. Oh wait, maybe I didnt have enough coffee yet. Was the 23rd your first application date?

but if they drag their feet on turning it in that's what drives up the processing time. Don't chance it just get a tourist visa and wait it out.

that's what i was debating. Ive been a good boy so my background check should be A+

I'd get a single entry tourist visa that is certain to buy you enough time and then if they're dragging their feet you could always extend that by 30 more days

even 4 weeks is ok. I just saw some talk that the "2 week" processing time has been changed to 1-3 months, and that's what my application acknowledgment said. So I'm thinking... hmmm... do I need to come back for 60 days.. or 90.

the thing that seems to take the time on the elite visa is the back ground check :/

They evidently only submit them once in a while in batches.

I had someone apply and got approve within a week or 10 days and another person apply and it took over 4 weeks

yeah it's hard to judge. I got lucky but some folks wait for a month or longer to get approved. There is just no way to know.

James Kamera Kasino Thanks, I have to leave the country on August 14 and am debating a visa exemption or a SETV for my return, so this information is very helpful

just a couple of days and that was only because I forgot one attachment. They emailed, I fixed it, application accepted.

Yep, it can run like a well-oiled machine. Are you going to get the visa put in your passport when you enter the country at the airport OR are you going to the immigration office to get it?

I'm already here in Pattaya on an exemption good till late August so I can just make a run to CW if I can just convince myself to make the wire transfer.
