TLDR : Answer Summary
Applying for a DTV visa from Bali is reported to be relatively straightforward. However, applicants should be prepared for a review process by the Jakarta Embassy, which may involve a requested interview. It's important to include images of all passport pages as supporting documents, as this can expedite the application. The waiting time for processing is typically around 2 weeks to 1 month, and applicants are advised to clearly explain their long-term plans to enhance their chances of obtaining the 5-year visa.

was pretty straightforward, but keep in mind that your application will be reviewed by the embassy in Jakarta, so you might need to go there if they request an interview

Bali goes under Jakarta Embassy - Main extra request they ask if everything else is ok, is images of all pages of passport so can already include them as supporting documents to save time with them asking it.

They are also sometimes issuing Multiple Entry Tourist Visas if they do not think you are fit for DTV, so make sure you explain clearly how your application is more fit for a 5 year visa, not a 6 month one. How you support yourself and what your plan is within these 5 years, not only first 6 months.

Total waiting time there around 2 weeks - 1 month max usually, the more you add when you submit the less you wait.

IT is the same process for people all over the world.

There is only 1 (one) official website who does not change based on your location or your preferences.
