How can I apply for the Thai Elite 5-year visa while on a visa exemption?
Hello,
I’ll be back in Thailand soon (on visa exemption on arrival) and I’d like to finally get the Thai Elite 5 year visa.
Can anyone recommend a reputable agent or whatever you call them for this?
Thailandelite.net seems legit but it’s a bit confusing that the Thai gov wouldn’t sell this visa themselves.
In addition, is it possible to apply & obtain the elite visa while I am on my visa exemption?
Thanks in advance guys.

Answer summary
The user is seeking recommendations for reputable agents to help them obtain the Thai Elite 5-year visa while they are in Thailand on a visa exemption. Comments suggest that direct communication with Thai Elite is advisable, and they emphasize that the official website is legitimate. It is noted that the application process can take months and should be started before arriving in Thailand. The process involves obtaining the visa in-country, particularly in Bangkok, which could be inconvenient for those not located there.

They increased the price of elite visa due to people needing a visa and a lack of options for forginers. I would of thought drop the price and keep forginers in Thailand for revenue not encourage them to leave

Be aware the application process can take a few months, so I suggest starting the process before arriving if your planning to arrive on an exception.
Also, they only issue the visa in-country at chaengwattana which is a pita if you’re not in bangkok.
