How should I fill in the arrival date and place of stay on my DTV application without confirmed tickets or accommodation?

Hi everyone!

I’m currently filling out the DTV application and have a quick question.

Since I haven’t received the visa yet, I don’t have flight tickets or a confirmed arrival date. I also don’t have a fixed hotel yet, as I plan to look for long-term accommodation after arrival.

What is the best way to fill in the “arrival date” and “place of stay” sections in this case?

Thanks in advance for your help!

TLDR : Answer Summary
Users suggest that when filling out the DTV application without confirmed flight tickets or accommodation, you can enter a tentative arrival date a few months in the future and use a hotel booking site to select a hotel with a cancellation option, allowing you to provide an address. It's also noted that previous applicants have successfully submitted their applications without hotel or flight confirmations.

Just put a rough planned date and then you can book a hotel with cancellation and input the address. Although I'm not sure you need a hotel booking really, as my DTV took a few weeks so I Cancelled my hotel and it was still approved. Didn't need to provide flight tickets either

You can put down any date, say 3 months away. You can go on any booking.com and pick a hotel, and just go all the way to the end before paying and take a screenshot of this, this is what some people have done same with the flight ticket.

You can also buy confirmed tickets for about £15 online but they can sometimes expire. These are legit tickets for the plane but they just aren't paid fully yet.
