How many times can a Taiwan passport holder get a 15-day visa on arrival? Is there any limit per year or something like that?

Can a 15-day visa on arrival be extended? And for how long? Do COVID extensions still exist?

Are there any visa types you can convert to while ON the 15-day visa on arrival?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Taiwan passport holder can obtain a 15-day visa on arrival without a strict limit, but frequent use may raise questions at immigration. Generally, this visa type does not qualify for extensions, and as of August 24th, 2022, COVID-related extensions are no longer available. While there are options to convert to another visa type in Thailand, this usually requires having at least 14-21 days remaining on the current visa, which is not possible with a 15-day visa on arrival.

I don't believe there's a limit, but they're going to start asking questions if you use it too often.

Visa on Arrival does not normally qualify for extension.

The last day to apply for a Covid extension is August 24th.

Most conversions to another visa inside the country require you to have between 14-21 days left on your stay, so you wouldn't be able to do it from VOA.
