Not sure what you mean by planned or real time confused me when you say that.

Planned is it when plane is scheduled to land.

Real is it actual time plane lands.

But think the time is taken from when you arrive at the health scrèening point where they check all the documents and put your information in to the computer.

its the SCHEDULED LANDING TIME at Phuket airport which determines it.

If it's SCHEDULED to land before 6pm then it's day #1

If after 6pm... The next day is day #1

Not sure, things have changed between ASQ and Sandbox. Previously in Bangkok ASQ it was arrival time at airport. But I believe in Sandbox its arrival time at hotel.

Before that time counts as day 1
