TLDR : Answer Summary
A user reports that they had two DTV visas approved in Hanoi within one hour, totaling six days for the entire process. Other commenters express their congratulations, suggest printing the visa approval email for airline check-in, and inquire about the advantages of applying in Hanoi versus Ho Chi Minh City.

Thank You for your helpful report ๐Ÿ‘

Congratulations ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight โœˆ๏ธ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.

Hanoi better. Very polite requests not same as HCM

Anonymous participant โ€”one question, though. I donโ€™t have bank statements for 3 months. I got a distribution from my IRA and am a freelancer for my own LLC. The reason I want to apply outside of the USโ€”in Hanoi, is to bypass that requirement, but I have the funds.

100%!

Hanoi less strict and seem to have better approval rate than HCMC. Search the group, many recently had rejections at HCMC

Anonymous participant 716 โ€”Thank you! ๐Ÿ™ Iโ€™ll search the group. Itโ€™s just I have a friend in HCMC, plus Iโ€™ve never been to Hanoi; however, if the restrictions are less, then absolutely Iโ€™ll go there instead.
