Looking at going to Ho Chi Minh to get my ED visa at the end of November, can anyone tell me how many days it takes at the Embassy there to process? (The language school have said I can go to Malaysia laos or Vietnam to obtain the visa but they aren't picking up emails over the weekend for more info and I'd like to get the flight booked) muchly appreciated :) thinking of flying Tuesday - Saturday...

TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain an ED visa at the Embassy in Ho Chi Minh, it takes two working days: you can apply on the first day in the morning and pick it up the next working day in the afternoon.

: I was in and out of the office in 30 minutes... Just spent most of the time filling out the app and waiting for them to review my papers.. Make sure you bring USD. They don't accept baht or dong.

I just did it the week before last, went in Thursday morning, picked it up Friday afternoon. Make sure your paperwork is in order, they throughly checked it and double checked it.
