How long does it take for a DTV visa application to be approved at the Thai Embassy in Cambodia?
I've submitted my DTV application on 29th OCT and got pending approval on 30th OCT. Now, it's been two weeks. I applied at Phenom Penh Thai Embassy Cambodia. Has anyone experienced how long it takes although it says 10 working days. I'm worried and waiting. 🙁
Answer summary
A user submitted their DTV application on October 29, 2023, and received a pending status a day later. After two weeks without approval, they express concern about the processing time despite the embassy's stated duration of 10 working days. Comments from others suggest potential delays due to recent holidays in Cambodia and that several applicants are in similar situations.

Jepp I would be worried if it says 10 working days and you didn’t even waited 10 working days 😂

Thursday and Friday are holidays in Cambodia. Would not be surprised if some staff took entire week off, so it might be slower than normal.

sure because they have so much holiday here …John *******
ZenMaster59 - I agree, there are a ton of holidays in both Thailand and Cambodia. The Water Festival this week is one of the bigger ones though, second to Khmer New Year (Songkran)

If there were any holidays in the past 2 weeks that will delay its approval.
