OK, it is clear now. He went to Satun/Malaysian border for a new entry on his Multiple Entry Visa or for a new Visa Exempt Entry. From arrival at the border till departure from the border it took 1 hour with friendly service and all went easy. Thanks for this information.

Did you go by helicopter. Phuket to Satun is not that close.
