How is the ID/password created in the TM-30 homeowner registration process in Thailand?

I have a very specific question regarding the on-line TM-30 honeowner registration process. The very first time the homeowner registers their residence, and the first screen you begin with, the options are login (with ID/password) or register. Do you select your own ID/password during your INITIAL registration process OR is an ID/password provided to you by the system later? Two immigration officers told me two separate answers. What is the correct answer? I'm not concerned about any of the other online pages or data entries...only when the ID/password is created. Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
In the TM-30 homeowner registration process, the user ID and initial password are provided via an approval email. The user must then change the password to one of their choosing.
Pui *****
Both your user ID and the initial password are provided in the approval email, and you then change the password to your own.
