How do I handle accommodation booking for the Thai TR visa application?
Last post i promise. How on earth is everyone handling the accommodation section on the thai TR visa page, it won't allow you to proceed unless you have typed in the full number of days accom to match the number of days you are in country ( eg, you are in country for 50 days from when you fly in to when you depart, and the accomodation MUST show the same number of days) What are people doing for booking and cancelling, aee you booking your full stay duration and uploading the email confirmation from say booking . Com or agoda? This is a real nightmare to navigate. For context i am a UK resident.

Where did it say you must show accommodation for the whole duration? Can you share a screenshot? Its always been show a booking for the first few days of the trip but never for the whole duration

Graham Seal i understand booked flights and accommodation is required. Its always been like that. My question is that does the accommodation booking need to be for the entire trip or can it only be for the first few days like it was in the past

OPUmer Sonu Khalid is you are applying for a TR visa, its your whole trip, the days you have accomodation must equate to the days you have declared you are going to be in the country, it will come up with an error if not and won't let you proceed. And no, I'm not sending a screenshot, as I've already completed the application and don't wish to see it again.

i booked for 7 days accomodation and my flights are booked 30 days waiting to see i get 60 days then ill apply extension 30 days.Its a bit of a turn off this return flight thing as ill have to pay to change flights

Derek Malone you need to be her by Sept 14th to still get 60 day visa, starting 12:01 on the 15th you will only get 30

Having to book accommodation just to obtain a visa and then cancelling it afterwards shows what a mixed up complicated system this is. Holidays should be fun and exciting not full of stress wondering whether you will get a visa or not.

OPRob Ryalls i booked 1 accom for my first week (7 day total) then booked somewhere else for the remaining days (49 total), so it came to the length i was staying in country. Look for places that have free cancellation, i use booking dot com, never had an issue with their free cancellation policy.
