TLDR : Answer Summary
Benjamin, an expat residing in Chiang Rai, is seeking a caregiver to assist him for about one hour each day. The request has prompted various comments, including suggestions to contact local pharmacies or clinics, and to check local expat Facebook groups for support. Some users have raised concerns about the urgent medical needs of a disabled individual related to the caregiver search, emphasizing the importance of finding immediate assistance while condemning inappropriate jokes within the discussion.

he did, but they didn’t bring him to the hospital as he needed. If he’s only looking for help one hour a day now, I’m guessing he’s not going to the hospital. He just needs care in his home, although one hour per day sounds insufficient. Anyway, I don’t know why people in Thai forums have to be such Aholes. They’re so immature and lack basic decency.

He needs a Chiang Mai forum though. They’ll know the local people.

this is not the only place he has reached out to. He is a desperate, older gentlemen and is in medical distress and these groups make sense! They are all locals and expats so why not this group!? šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

that’s what I was thinking as well. I’m out of the country at the moment, but trying to help any way I can. I cannot stand the thought of someone just sitting suffering with no help.

It’s pitiful!

Just contact any pharmacy or clinic. They will refer. Or, Google caregiver Chiang Rai. If it's medical, then you should go to local hospital or call them, such as Chiang Rai Ram Hospital and get 3 referrals. Easy.

Ok people… THIS IS NOT A JOKE!

This poor man is disabled and has been on the floor for HOURS!!!

He is DESPERATE for help! He cannot get to his medications or the bathroom and this could be life threatening!

Let’s worry less about the pictures or your personal opinions and put our minds together to put him in touch with someone that could help tonight before the next post is too late!

Have a heart and remember, this could be ANY of us one day!
