Hello again, I applied Non-B visa for my boss. And I just got the letter back. How can I know that it is a single entry or multiple entry? And also The length of stay? Because When I was filling up the form, I didnโt see that part at all and the officer never tell me about it. She only said that the permit is only 6 months first and I can extend it later. Thank you in advance. ๐๐ป

TLDR : Answer Summary
The applicant received their Non-B visa letter but is unsure whether it is a single or multiple entry and what the length of stay is, as this information was not clear during the application process.
most thai consulates ONLY issue a 90 day single entry Non-B visa. In fact the only consulates in the area that will issue year-long, multi-entry Non-Bs are the ones in Penang or Kota Bharu and they both require that the person be a managing director and hold 20% of the stock in the company employing them.
Now if they're going to apply in their country, that's up to the thai consulate there BUT I would guess they're only gonna get a 90 day single entry Non-B
no, that is not the next step. IF you filed for application of the Work Permit and all documents are in order you will get the WP3 form (like this example) and your boss can apply for a Non Immigrant B visa at the Thai consulate in his country before he makes his way into Thailand.
I applied for WP.3 at Ministry of Labor. It is when foreigner is outside of the country. And Yes I applied for the work permit as well. Next step is for him to come back to Thailand and file more documents that they require.
