Awaiting paperwork from my home country which may take up to 3 weeks to process... But this freaking message is lingering! Haha.

**Incomplete applications over 14 days will be automatically removed from the system.

**How do I contact IO to get an extension on the 14 day crap?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is waiting for paperwork from their home country, which may take up to three weeks, and is concerned about their visa application being automatically removed after 14 days of incompleteness. They seek advice on how to contact the relevant authority for an extension on this timeline. Community responses clarify that the issue should be directed to the embassy handling the visa application rather than to immigration, which only comes into play upon entering the country. Suggestions include contacting the embassy via Facebook messenger with essential application details for a quicker response.

Why would you contact the Immigration, they have nothing to do with issuing visa’s.

That is handled by Embassies.

Anonymer Teilnehmer why would anyone want your birth certificate? lol… there must be uncertainty about your identity and passport apparently if that is beeing asked… could have better applied in your home country than somewhere else..

At this stage, you're dealing with the embassy; immigration has nothing to do with it until you cross the border.

I would try to reach them by phone. They will absolutely auto-reject the application in 14 days and keep the fee

You don't contact any immigration office. You don't apply for visas through an immigration office. That's a completely different government agency.

Visas are applied for through embassies. So you contact the embassy, not immigration. You should have an application number. Usually the best way to contact many Thai embassies is through Facebook messenger. Try to find if the embassy you applied through has a Facebook, and send them a very concise message with all information in a single message. What your name and passport number is, what your application number is the visa you are applying for, and why you need to message them. If you make it a long message, or send it in multiple messages, it will likely be ignored.

If they don't have a Facebook, you can try to find a phone number or e-mail address, but both of those are nearly useless for contacting most Thai embassies.

Upload a letter that explains why it’s taking soo long

Regardless on what you do the money is always non refundable. Even if you sent what they wanted and they still decided to reject or cancel your visa it would still be non refundable ..

Anonymous participant I understand and would be worried too lol but if anything…. They would just say application canceled… and have you start again? I used a visa agency though and they helped me and she suggested I write a letter explaining why I don’t have my 2024 taxes yet and when they uploaded it the visa was approved in less than 2 hours
