How long away was the flight date you wrote in?

Anonymous participant 210 2.5 months. I only put in the flight number, they did not ask for a ticket. They ask to apply not earlier than 3 months but there is no requirement to enter at any specific date, it can be later.

yeah was just maybe wondering if you put in a closer date they will prioritize your application and approve faster. But seems like not then! Thank you

It depends on the embassy. And even from the same one you can get two different answers šŸ˜…. I asked them by email and they said one month is fine.

Did you apply in person ? Online ?

@Ade *******
all Thai embassy visa applications are online worldwide. The only visit to an embassy is if an interview is requested. In Laos payment is made at the consulate.

Thank You for your helpful report šŸ‘

Congratulations šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight āœˆļø to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
