TLDR : Answer Summary
The process of obtaining a work visa while overseas for Americans looking to extend their stay in Thailand involves securing employment in the country. A Non Immigrant B visa can be obtained with the assistance of a prospective employer, provided the applicant has the necessary qualifications such as a university degree.
