They certainly do not operate the same, here in Jakarta it has been one week since first applying for a COE, and 4 days since uploading ASQ and related info. I don't even have a visa yet.

thanks for asking, I personally visited the Embassy itself last Monday the 30th. I had all visa paper work nicely arranged and everything ready to go. I was there in Jakarta at 9am, but was not let in the Compound. Told only to file a COE and that was it. Since then I have called 40 times and emailed, FB messages. The Royal Thai Embassy in Jakarta is in another world.Brahim ******
