Has the COVID visa extension for Thailand been extended beyond August 24th?
hello has the covid extension been extended
Answer summary
As of now, the COVID extension program allows for an extension until August 24th, and officers have indicated this is likely the last extension due to open borders. Visitors wishing to stay longer need to change their visa reason.

Actually as officers said it to me “ this is last extension. Because borders are open. If you want to stay in thailand change reason of your visa “

They have been saying it's the last one for about 2 years.Tod *********
@Luffy *****
that they said that to YOU has nothing to do with the program being continued or not 😕 Covid extensions are always at the discretion of the issuing officer
More and more people, especially ones who've been here since before the lock down March 2020 are getting told they can't get extensions, and to exit the country and come back again.
