When flying with Qatar (PHL-BKK).. Do they require the negative RT-PCR test to be administered AND results given within 72-hours of departure? Since free tests may take a few days to process, is it safest to pay for a rapid test? thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
When flying from Philadelphia (PHL) to Bangkok (BKK) with Qatar Airways, a negative RT-PCR test is required to be administered and the results must be provided within 72 hours of departure. Given potential delays with free testing options, it is advisable to pay for a rapid test to ensure you receive results in time. Observations from travelers indicate strict enforcement of paperwork requirements by the airline.

Simple answer is yes. You will need a PRT test that is current according to the COE you are entering Thailand with. Plain and simple!

Got to say RT PCR. Results should only take 4 to 8 hours.

Conflicting information on sites but to cover yourself take test minimum 72 hours before flight.

Yes best to pay to guarantee you get results in time
