TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers flying out of Heathrow Airport to Thailand in January are advised to opt for an RT-PCR test that guarantees a result within 1 to 3 hours. One user shared their experience of having to pay twice for an RT-PCR test after initially paying for a standard PCR test, highlighting the importance of paying close attention to testing requirements when traveling to Thailand.

Yes - Please Specify an RT-PCR....... After spending £80 on a PCR I looked at the Thai Site and I had to Pay twice for an RT-PCR....... Good Advice John / I got caught out with that one...... Going to Thailand You really must pay fasticious Attention to Detail - I'm here Now in Khonkaen, but It would have been easier to go to Cape Canaveral and do all the Paperwork for to travel to the moon and Back..... Never again..... Best of Luck - 🇹🇭
