In regards to an extension of stay for a Non O retirement, if account balance goes below 800k but not below 400k, are the replacement funds required to show coming from outside of Thailand?

TLDR : Answer Summary
For the extension of stay under a Non-O retirement visa, there is no requirement for funds to come from outside Thailand. However, the account balance must be 800,000 THB for at least 2 months prior to the application and for 3 months after the extension is issued. For the remainder of the year, the balance should not drop below 400,000 THB.

No, for Extension of Stay there is NO requirement that money has to come from abroad.

BUT be aware that it must be 800.000 Thb from 2 months prior application until 3 months after issue date of the Extension and the rest of the year not less than 400.000 thb
