TLDR : Answer Summary
You do not need to visit an embassy or consulate after receiving your DTV PDF. You can fly directly to Bangkok with the printed copy of your visa, which you need to present to the immigration officer upon arrival for stamping. Ensure the stamp you receive is valid for 180 days.
Print out the PDF, it's your visa. Show it to the officer when you hand over your passport upon arrival. After you get stamped in, check that the stamp is for 180 days.
