Hey all, seeking advice for my upcoming move to Bangkok. I'm on a non-O retirement visa and have always handled my extensions in Phuket or Hua Hin. Now, I'll be living with my girlfriend in her condo here in BKK. Could anyone offer insights on:

> TM30 reporting when living in a girlfriend's condo?

> Key differences or things to prepare for when dealing with the Bangkok immigration office for my annual extension?

Arrived in Thailand last October.

Went to immigration to do 90 day reporting in January.

I left Thailand early February and returned to Thai late February.

Can I do the next 90 day reporting online? Or do I need to go to immigration again? Thanks a lot!

Hi my question: Can TM30 reporting be done online with a smartphone and without a computer. This is for the reason of coming back to my Thai home from travelling and informing them I’m home. I know it sounds a bit of a silly question but I’ve heard it’s a bit of a nightmare. It’s not a hotel it’s my home in Thailand. TYIA

Information for those confused about 90 day reporting when you duck in/out of Thailand regularly. Immigration official in Hatyai confirmed to me that the 90 day clock restarts every time to come back into the country.

So, if you travel in/out regularly then you don't need to report at all.

Hey awesome people. Got my DTV thanks to this group. Just looking for confirmation that I got my head screwed on properly about some things.

1) 1st day of me landing in Thailand - that's Day 01 of 180, correct?

2) Whenever I reside in a new place, TM30 must be reported by the landlord, correct?

3) Day 90, I must report 90-day reporting - first time must be in-person, correct?

4) If I leave before Day 180, the second Day 90 reporting is NOT required, correct?

5) When I return, my 180 days will be reset... then my next Day 90 reporting must be in-person again, correct?

Thanks everyone!

I have a Non OA retirement Visa.

Will be retuning for first time after visiting USA.

What is the process?

I mean - we land and I go through immigration.

They stamp me as returned to Thailand.

This starts my clock over again and I now have 90 days to check in again.

Am I correct?

What about the TM30?

Hi all. If it wasn’t for this group I wouldn’t be aware of some key bits of info when travelling to and staying in Thailand - many thanks to those who contribute.

The one thing that’s got me is the 90 reporting process. I’ve just been given the dtv visa and will travel in a few weeks but I’ve never received any info telling me about any rules and processes I need to follow. Just wondering what else I might have missed.

Is anyone able to share a link that describes anything I need to be doing while using my visa?

Also interested in anyone’s view on how I’ve missed the 90 day reporting. Should I have been following an official site / page?

Appreciate anything you have to offer.

Hi, I am a 66 British male and I have been living in Egypt.

I am travelling to Thailand soon, can I apply for a non o retirement visa when I arrive, if yes how please, on arrival at the airport or at the local immigration office.

I do have the 800,000 THB required for the transfer into a Thai bank account, which I can open with the retirement visa. Also I have booked accommodation for the 1st month as I need a TM30? And look for a permanent residence.

I haven't booked a flight out of Thailand, should I?

Any other useful information would be very much appreciated.

Hopefully I have supplied enough information.
