Hey has anyone been stamped out and then stamped straight back in at a land border? Thinking to just drive myself to the ranong border when it’s time.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses the feasibility of performing a visa run from Thailand to Myanmar through the Ranong border, with some users sharing experiences and costs associated with the journey. One user clarifies that you need to take a boat to Myanmar and back, and the cost is around 2400 baht. Others confirm that it is possible to get stamped in and out on the same day, while some suggest considering applying for a proper visa instead of frequent border hops.

I don't understand why you all don't just apply for proper visas and keep doing these ridiculous border hops.

You do understand at the ranong border you bounce out and back by BOAT to burma and back right?

Last reports were it cost about 2400baht at the pier all in for you to get out and back,

but

there's no issue doing it the same day as fast as you can get across, stamp in and out of burma then come right back to thailand

no you don't buy an actual visa to burma,

you buy a "border pass" which lets you stay in that area only,

That lets you get stamped in/out of burma

when you cut the deal with the boatmen at the pier to take you across I think it's included in the price of the trip
