I came in 2 days ago, immigration didnt ask me anything, just looked me up in cpu and stamped my passport

The 20K baht is only for people on visa exempt exempt and VOA. You already showed the 500K when you applied for the DTV.

The 20k Baht cash check is rare and mostly random, but the notarized parental consent letter is a hard legal stop. If a 14-year-old shows up at Thai immigration entirely alone without a notarized letter signed by both parents, a copy of their birth certificate, and copies of both parents' passports, they are at a massive risk of being detained and turned away at the border over human trafficking protocols. Prioritize the minor authorization paperwork over the cash.
