Can I pay for my DTV application at the Thai embassy with Prompt Pay or bank transfer in Laos?
Hi, I am in Laos to apply for a DTV but I don't have the 10k THB in cash required to apply at the embassy. I tried to get THB at the BCEL Bank but they told me that I need to have some sort of support documents to be allowed to buy THB. Do you know if I can pay with Prompt Pay or bank transfer at the Thai embassy? Or do do you know where I can get THB in Vientiane?

Directly opposite the embassy there is one place that will change the money for you but be prepared to not get a great rate. What currency are you wanting to change ?
