When applying for 90-day non-immigrant o online, can I just enter a tentative plane ticket I haven't purchased yet (pending visa approval) and unreserved accommodations (also pending approval)? Or do they actually check with airline and hotel/residence in the approval process? Or match up at entry or when they receive the tm30?
I ask because last time I extended tourist visa for 30 days, I just put the hotel I had been in most recently even though I checked out and went to a different condotel after leaving immigration office.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a 90-day Non-Immigrant O visa online, it is generally acceptable to submit tentative flight information and unreserved accommodations, as many embassies primarily request your intended plans rather than confirmed bookings. However, there may be instances where proof of travel arrangements is requested later in the process. This aligns with previous experiences shared by others, indicating that providing proposed flights can suffice.
