TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around whether pound sterling can be used on an insurance certificate for entry into Thailand. While some participants share their experiences, notably that insurers can accept various equivalent currencies and specifically mention using GBP, others clarify that US dollars are generally preferred. One user discusses their successful use of a UK-based insurance policy that covers specific medical conditions, affirming its acceptability by Thai authorities for visa purposes.
