If you can’t scan what is the benefit of having this? Real question.
But can you use private QR Codes ? As I have read only Business Accounts can be scanned what’s the Point of Scanning if 75% of Thailand use private QR-Codes
Hey. Can you tell me how did you get approved for the QR code because I have Wise acc and I have the QR code option is there but I cannot pay to any Thai qr codes.
For personal QR payment (eg street vendors), try Deep Pocket Apps, top up via credit card, the only downside is handling fee 4.5%, I have it for emergency eg run out of cash
KindDachshund6786 whats the point in this then? Most market stalls are non busniesses, might as well just use True and get the advanced account so you can scan any QR
KindDachshund6786 I pay taxes in the UK, becuase I only stay so long in Thailand, however, most counties have a double tax treaty. The UK is pretty easy to be fair, and Thailand understands that if you are paying tax in another country. They won't expect you to pay double.
KindDachshund6786 Yeah maybe in the future, but the bad thing now there is more of a tax issue with being with wise Thailand, they'll be able to track and know if you are in the country for 6 months+ in the year. Probably report that to the Thai government and they might seek for you to file taxes which you should do anyway
KindDachshund6786 What a strange requirement, why should a drivers license not be valid for identification when it is over 3 months? You cannot even get a new one then.
Or do they mean it should not be invalid for more than 3 months?
