Hey all! Been a member for a while now as I try to navigate my way over to Thailand but this is the first question that I can't find an answer to. I am going to purchase a METV here in the US and I have to show proof of funds equaling $7000+ in a bank statement. The thing is that I have been putting most of my money in cryptocurrency lately and it has been doing very well. I have more than a sufficient amount of money but it isn't visible on an actual bank statement. Is it going to be necessary that I withdraw funds from my wallet just to put in the bank for a few weeks to show that I have the necessary income or can I show a statement through my wallet provider that shows the available funds and that it more than exceeds their requirements. I would hate to take my money out, especially when the market is doing so well right now, and lose out on quite a bit of profit. With Chiang Mai being such a digital nomad destination I can't be the only one that has this conundrum. Thanks so much for your time and I am hoping this is the appropriate place for this question. Again, thanks so much!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking advice on whether they can present a statement from their cryptocurrency wallet as proof of funds for obtaining a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV) for Thailand, instead of withdrawing funds to show in a traditional bank statement.
