Can I Switch from a Multi-Entry Non-B Visa to a BOI Work Visa in Bangkok Without Leaving Thailand?

I'm currently on a multi-entry one year non-b requiring leaves at least once every 90 days. I'm approaching that 90 day limit (5 April) for the first time as I'm looking to switch jobs. The new company has a BOI visa. However there seems to be a lot of confusion over whether I can just switch in BKK or must cancel, leave, get a new non-b, and extend. Given the circumstances I'm at my wit's end and would appreciate any advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is on a multi-entry one year non-B visa and needs to switch jobs to a company with a BOI visa. They are unsure whether they can switch visas in Bangkok or if they must leave Thailand to get a new non-B visa before extending. Comments indicate that while a job switch may be possible, the visa regulations still require leaving Thailand at the end of the admitted stay period for a new entry.

you might be able to switch to a new employer but that does not change the way the visa works. It will still be the same, you need to leave at the end of your Admitted to stay period and as long as you enter before the valid until date on the visa you get 90 days of stay

As long as you are looking to switch jobs, you have no chance.
