Not sure where you got the 30 days from as there is yet to be any changes to the visa exempt rules. In any case as long as you pass through immigration before midnight, which you will, you are good

So a couple things. As long as you go through immigration before midnight your fine, it doesn't matter when the flight takes off.
- remember, the day you arrive in Thailand counts as 1 day, even if you arrive at 11pm.
- overstay less than 24 hours, all fines are wavied, you just get a stamp that says "overstay less than 24 hours".

you don't have a problem you will pass immigration before you takeoff time which will be the day before. Officially, the law states it is 500 THB per day. However, if you are only overstaying by a few hours or exactly one day because of flight scheduling, immigration officers at major airports (like Suvarnabhumi) will often waive the 500 THB fee for a single day. Note: You will still get an overstay stamp in your passport, even if the fee is waived
