Hi there, I am currently in Tokyo (though a UK resident). I am visiting Thailand from 3rd April for 34 days and have a flight booked back home. Is it possible to get a tourist visa for more than 30 days? Can I get my visa at the Tokyo airport when I fly and how do I do this?

If it is not possible to get a visa for more than 30 days is my next choice to get a 30 day one and then extend it after 4 days, at the Bangkok bureau?

Many thanks!

Answer summary

The individual is inquiring about the possibility of obtaining a tourist visa for Thailand that lasts more than 30 days while currently in Tokyo. They want to know if it's possible to get this visa at the airport in Tokyo and the process involved. If not feasible, they are considering getting a 30-day visa and extending it later at the Bangkok bureau.
