Answer summary
The questioner seeks advice regarding their DTV visa interview scheduled for May 22nd at 10 AM in Vientiane. They are uncertain if they can fly out the same afternoon at 2 PM or if they should wait a day after the interview. Community responses suggest that it's best to wait for the visa approval before booking a flight, as outcomes can vary and interviews may necessitate additional document requests. Typically, basic questions are asked during the interview regarding the applicant's purpose for the visa and financial standing.

It depends on what you get approved ( which you won't know before hand )I got a approved later in the afternoon.. I tried to book a 6 pm flight but it was full..I wasn't able to get out of there until about 8ish
I got an email before I even left the building. If you need it printed out then you can ask the guys across the road. And although your interview time is 10am its a ticketed system. I got there for my interview at 10:30am and I was 8th in line
Anonymous participant yeah i got an email with a time which I got there before but there was 8 people in front of me so expect to wait and not get in for the time it says on your email.
Mine was for a workcation dtv. Tbh not many questions at all. Was interested in my income from the UK. Just be positive, answer the questions they ask. Make sure they match up with what you have filled in on your dtv and im sure you will be fine
You need to wait until a decision is made. Often approvals are sent soon after the interview. They will ask basic questions on your application. why you want the DTV etc. Be prepared to show your bank balance on your phone.
