I have some conserns about extension for my second visa exemtion. I had visa exemption 30d + extension 30d + Covid19 extension 60d. Then i went holiday in Cambodia. When i returned back to Thailand immigration gave me visa exemption stamp 30d. But they mentioned that it is possible i can't get 30d extension and i have to leave from Thailand. Could you advise is it like that. I should get at least one month extension (July) as i am here with my Thai son

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses concerns regarding the extension of a visa exemption stay in Thailand after multiple previous extensions and a recent re-entry from Cambodia. The user received a 30-day visa exemption stamp but was informed that they might not be eligible for a 30-day extension. Community comments suggest that the user can apply for a regular 30-day extension and potentially a 'visit Thai family' visa for an additional 60 days, emphasizing the importance of bringing proof of their relationship with their Thai son to Immigration.

You should be applying for and getting 60 days extentions of stay from any entry if you have a Thai son. Take him and his birth cert to Immigration with you when you apply.

You’ll be able to get a regular 30 day extension off a visa exempt entry. You could also apply for a “visit Thai family” visa which would give you a further 60 days after that.
