Can I enroll my child in an online school instead of a Thai school while applying for a DTV visa?
Good morning group! I'm planning to apply for a DTV and shouldn't have an issue. I have a son and I'm wondering if any other parent out there has opted to have their child attend school online instead of attending at a school in Thailand? There are a few great online school here in U.S. and I've seen a few posts stating that there could be a challenge with the Thai schools allowing children to attend...seems to be case by case. Has anyone gone the route of just having their children attend online instead? Feedback or thoughts? Thanks. :)

Hi! For various reasons, my daughter (she’ll be 15 when she starts) will be attending online next year (once I’m hopefully approved for DTV). One thing that factored in greatly into that decision is flexibility to travel. Another is she’s on the spectrum (diagnosed), so environment and flexibility in general are really important for her.

My son does online studies. I can give you a link for the system he uses, it's worked well for us for years and isn't expensive. US based curriculum, with a lot of flexibility

If your child is a dependant on your DTV its not an issue if they online/homeschool.

Never heard of a challenge to allow children to attend schools in Thailand.
Most schools will help out with Immigration and provide all documents needed to apply for the Non Immigrant ED visa for the child.
