Can I apply for a Thai DTV visa while in Japan on a visit visa?

Has anyone applied DTV through Japan? I m in Japan on visit visa and thinking to apply DTV for Thai. Is it possible ?

Yes. You have to leave and re enter and restart the process.

Cancel your work permit. Apply for 7 day extension on visa same day or next day. Then immediately leave thailand, and process new one work permit

Everything is timing, cancel visa in Bangkok than rocket yourself to Pratum  thani within the days given to stay location. Meaning your coordinating within the working week observing any holidays will be required.  Get all your admin in a good stack and know your timing.  Best you have your own bike to manage time

I don't think being in a different province has anything to do with it, but if that's what they say you have to do then that's what you have to do. Nominally you could cancel your extension of stay and work permit in your current school in advance at the local immigration office and then travel to the immigration office serving your new school and on the date you provided apply for a new extension of stay. But timing is critical as is having all the required paperwork
