Can I Cross the Nong Khai Border to Attend My Non-Working B Visa Appointment in Laos?

To my knowledge, all land borders are closed for human traffic. You can not get a Lao visa to enter Lao. Cancel your appointment, and try to use a different process to stay.

Id cancel your appointment if you cant make it or you will be banned from making another appointment for a month and you might need it.

March 22 is today not Tuesday. No visas available.

LAO PEOPLE'S DEM. REP. – published 21.02.2020

1. Issuance of tourist visas, e-visas and visas on arrival has been suspended.

2. Visa exemptions for passengers with a normal passport are suspended.

3. Passengers traveling for non-touristic purposes must obtain a visa and approval prior to arrival.
