Hello i have been living in Chiang rai and attending Chiang rai immigration for my last 2 Covid extensions .
I was given another 'under consideration' stamp last week , and i am to return on 11th feb to close loop .
I have just found out from my landlord that i have to vacate my rented room here in CR on the 4th Feb ! So i have no choice but to return to BKK to stay with friends ... Is there any way i can get 'loop closed earlier than the 4th feb here in CR OR possibly close loop in BKK where i will be living from the 4th Feb ?
I know Thi Imm are likely to be unhelpful in this situation but if anyone knows if it is possible please assist. I have nowhere to stay in Chiang Rai from the 4th of Feb until the date of closure of loop, and i have no idea what options i have Thankyou for any advice
TLDR : Answer Summary
An expat in Chiang Rai is facing a dilemma because they have to vacate their rented room before their scheduled immigration appointment to close an 'Under Consideration' stamp. They are inquiring if it's possible to close this process earlier than their appointment or in Bangkok, where they will be staying after leaving Chiang Rai. Responses suggest that it is necessary to close the stamp in Chiang Rai as they cannot do it in Bangkok, with options for affordable accommodation in Chiang Rai if needed.
