Can I apply for an annual extension after receiving a 60-day extension on my NON-O visa for having Thai children?

I came in on a 90 day non-o visa for having Thai family (kids). I got a further 60 day extension on that. My visa expires at the end of this month. Is it possible to get the annual extension after getting the 60 day one already? Also my bank dropped below 400k this month, but I could top it up.

Not sure if I can make it happen or if I have enough time?

Appreciate your advice!

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can apply for the annual extension after already receiving a 60-day extension on your Non-O visa for having Thai children. However, it's crucial to ensure you maintain the required balance of at least 400,000 baht in your Thai bank account, as well as check if your local immigration office requires those funds to be seasoned for two months prior to application. It's advised to visit your immigration office soon to clarify these requirements and obtain any necessary paperwork.

Yep, just go apply for the year extension before your current stamp runs out

That was a self inflicted fail ๐Ÿ™ You need to have 400K baht in a thai bank account in your name only when you apply for the year extension.

Now while it's not specifically written into the rule for extensions based on thai children that you need to have the 400K baht seasoned 2 months (like you do for marriage to a thai) SOME offices still require you have it seasoned.

That means; you first need to get the balance back to the minimum 400K baht and then you need to go to your immigration office and find out if your office requires the 2 month seasoning for raising thai child extensions.

Also while you're there get the hand out listing the requirements needed to apply for the extension (as it's not the same stuff you needed for the 60 day visit family extension)

It's going to come down to whether you need the 400K baht seasoned 2 months for a yearly raising thai child extension. You can apply for the extension any time you meet the requirements before your current stamp runs out
