Can I apply for a visa as a contractor for my own company instead of as a traditional company?

Has anyone ever applied as a contractor for their own company vs applying as a company. If so have you just signed as yourself to say you can work remotely and also that you work for “the company”? Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The question revolves around whether one can apply for a visa in Thailand as a contractor for their own company rather than as an employee of a different company. Comments suggest that individuals have done this by registering as directors of their UK Ltd companies and signing documentation that states they are employees working remotely.

Couple of pals did this with UK Ltd companies. They were Directors but wrote to themselves as employees saying they worked remotely approving quotes and payroll.
