I am a regular visit to Thailand and looking at a retirement visa, can I apply for that when I get into Thailand (UK National). I have a Thai Bank Account already.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK national can apply for a retirement visa (Non-O) upon entering Thailand, provided they have at least 800,000 Baht in their Thai bank account. However, the acceptance of this application may vary by immigration office; some may allow applications while others may not. It is advisable to consider obtaining the visa prior to entering Thailand to streamline the process.
NON-O RETIREMENT VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES
Go to the Retirement Visa Section for information on requirements, including age restrictions, financial requirements, and necessary documentation.
For immediate assistance, contact Thai Visa Centre directly via LINE at @ThaiVisaCentre or Email them.

If you can obtain it while you are in the UK...it will expedite the process here in Thailand.
Otherwise...get a Tourist visa in the UK
And when borders are open again..seek to convert it to a Non O and Extension of Stay inside Thailand. Not all Thai immigration offices allow that...some do...so best to get the Non O in the UK if possible.
