Can DTV holders use the ABC automated gates at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport for entry?

**DTV holders: ABC gate and passport stamp?**

Hi all! I’m a DTV holder with a European passport, arriving at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (BKK). My THIM confirmation says I’m eligible for ABC access.

Since the gate is automatic, how is the entry recorded?
* Is the passport stamped, or is there no stamp at all?
* Did you get a printed slip showing your permitted stay?
* Did the gate accept your DTV, or were you sent to a staffed counter?

I wonder if it's better to use the faster ABC gate or the stuffed counter...

I was the same , on monday , the E-Gate will tell you to go to the immigration counter , where the que is still quicker than going in the normal line, i believe they are looking at issuing you slip in future that you place in your passport

Do not use the ABC automated gates! Head directly to a staffed counter.

Here is why:

Visa override risk: The arrival ABC gates only process 30-day visa-exempt entries. If you scan your passport at the auto-gate, the system will log your arrival as a 30-day visa-exempt tourist, skipping your DTV entirely.

No physical DTV stamp: DTV holders need an official 180-day stay stamp placed in their passport by an immigration officer upon entry. ABC gates record entries digitally without stamping.

System eligibility message: Your confirmation flags "ABC Eligible" solely because of your European biometric passport. The system doesn't know you hold a DTV, so you must self-select the staffed line.

Go to the regular manned line, present your passport and DTV e-Visa printout, and double-check your physical stamp before leaving the counter to confirm it says 180 days.

You cannot use the gate as a visa holder. You will need the stamp from the Immigration officer. Did you think you will go trough just like that?😀
