TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, a work permit can be issued for individuals in Thailand on a non-immigrant type B visa, provided the employer has all the necessary documents. It is important to note that work permits cannot be issued for certain visa types such as educational or retirement visas. The application process must be conducted by the employer at the Ministry of Labor in Thailand.
