Hello guys, I my visa extension expires on October 1. I was told by a visa agency that they can do a covid extension for me of 2 months for 12000 baht. It didn't make sense to me... Does that mean that covid extension visa aren't over yet or that they can be done only through an agency or do you think that it is officially over and maybe I was talking to someone that had plans of scamming me.. ?

First time posting here. Thank you guys

Answer summary

The user is seeking clarification on the status of COVID-19 visa extensions in Thailand, as they were offered a two-month extension for a fee by a visa agency. Commenters unanimously suggest that the COVID extensions are no longer valid and that the agency's offer is likely a scam. They recommend that the user visit an immigration office for accurate information or consider a border run instead.
